Terracotta
Terracotta is one of the most prevalent materials in the history of construction, having been used since ancient times to create floors, coverings, and roofs.
Over the centuries, production techniques have naturally evolved, but cotto has always remained the same captivating material. Whether handmade or industrially produced, it is still used today to enhance the prestige and character of both private residences and public spaces.
To be preserved in the best possible way, cotto flooring typically needs to be cleaned and treated after installation. The treatment makes it stain-resistant and facilitates maintenance. At the same time, the application of a protective treatment should not alter the natural appearance of the material and should not compromise its physical characteristics, such as breathability. Moreover, it should be able to endure over time without the need for extraordinary interventions.
Over the years, we have selected products and techniques to ensure high-quality treatments and finishes, respectful of the material, with excellent visual results, durability, and longevity."
