RESTORATION
Restoration is understood as:
'The technical operation aimed at reinstating the compromised or deteriorated details of a work of art or objects considered artistic or valuable, or ensuring their preservation.'
It involves restoring legibility and definition to works and artifacts of value, such as mosaics, sculptures, architectural elements, garments, and floorings, marked by the passage of time or events, while simultaneously ensuring their preservation. The work of restoration requires expertise, knowledge of the material, excellent craftsmanship, along with patience and tenacity, so it is not just a matter of technique, but also a lot of passion. The kind of passion we recognize in ourselves and in our collaborators.
In addition to the actual restoration, we also engage in aesthetic recovery, closely related to restoration, which also requires great skill, expertise, and proficiency. This involves correcting defects and damages to floors, coverings, furniture, in hotels, luxury residences, spas, boats, etc. Perhaps removing scratches and holes from glossy surfaces or precious woods, correcting discolorations in marble coverings, resolving finish inconsistencies on coverings. In these cases as well, along with the technique, there is a lot of passion..."
